Areas of Practice: Patents, Opinions, Searching.

Mr. Keith Fredlake is a shareholder with Roberts Mlotkowski Safran & Cole, P.C. Mr. Fredlake concentrates his practice in intellectual property matters, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications pertaining to chemistry, chemical engineering, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Fredlake also counsels clients on issues regarding the patentability of inventions, patent rights in foreign countries, and the infringement and validity of U.S. patents.

Mr. Fredlake’s practice also include performing searches for clients, including freedom to operate (right to use), invalidity, patentability, and opposition searches. Mr. Fredlake is also experienced in the preparation of invalidity and non-infringement opinions for utility and design patents.

Legal History:
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fredlake was an Associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP for over three years and an Associate at Jagtiani + Guttag LLLP for over five years.
