Mr. Spina is a business attorney with broad experience assisting clients with corporate, regulatory and transactional matters, typically involving international contracts and international business transactions and typically involving technology enterprises. Spina's experience in this field spans 24 years, including six years working in Seoul, Korea in support of multi-national corporations doing business in Korea.

Spina's current practice is based in Washington DC , where he supports technology firms with their business arrangements and agreements. He also serves as outside general counsel to several small companies involved in technology, international business and government contracting. Spina's practice also covers international trade and investment issues, particularly those involving Korea and China.

Spina taught courses in International Law at Georgetown University Law Center as an adjunct professor. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Korean Economic Institute in Washington DC . He participates in numerous Korea-related academic conferences and served as speaker and panelist at various engagements such as the Center for Strategic & International Studies U.S.-Korea Task Force; Policy Alternatives at the Forum on Peaceful Unification on North and South Korea, Seoul; U.S.-Korea Business and Trade Issues, Johns Hopkins University; and International Broadband Initiatives at an American Bar Association/Federal Communications Bar Association Workshop.

Spina speaks Chinese and Korean.
