Ms. Kennedy prepares and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent applications in the chemical field. Her practice additionally involves performing searches for clients, including freedom-to-operate (right to use.)

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kennedy gained more than two years of experience as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where she examined patent applications in the organic chemistry field, including polymer, pharmaceutical, transdermal, and cosmetic patent applications.

Prior to her experience at the USPTO, Ms. Kennedy was an associate for a boutique firm where she focused on import and export law, particularly under the Export Administration Regulations. Ms. Kennedy has also gained technical experience working in a small pharmaceutical research lab.
