Ms. McDougall concentrates her practice on foreign and domestic intellectual property counseling, litigation, and licensing. Ms. McDougall manages global trademark portfolios for clients spanning a number of industries, which includes assisting with brand selection, registration, enforcement, and litigation in both federal courts and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also handles licensing and advertising matters, including proper labeling, advertising substantiation, analysis of rules and regulations related to sweepstakes, and contract review related to consumer promotions. Additionally, Ms. McDougall manages arbitration matters involving cybersquatting and domain name disputes.

Prior to entering the field of intellectual property law, Ms. McDougall was a Senior Contracts Manager for a global software corporation, negotiating contracts and licensing agreements with federal and state governments as well as large financial service institutions. She also negotiated national and international software agreements.

After graduating from law school, Ms. McDougall was an associate with Arter & Hadden LLP and Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, focusing on intellectual property counseling, prosecution, and litigation.
