Mr. Greger serves as Of Counsel for the Firm and specializes in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition law. Mr. Greger manages litigation matters in contested patent, trademark and copyright disputes.

Mr. Greger assists business clients to secure intellectual property rights and reduce risks. He negotiates licensing, business contracts, co-existence and employment agreements. His practice is concentrated on trademark prosecution, both domestic and international, rendering registrability as well as use clearance opinions. He has significant experience assisting clients in trademark Oppositions and Cancellations with the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Greger has lead counsel experience in U.S. Federal Court actions for trademark, trade dress, copyright, patents, unfair competition and false advertising cases. Mr. Greger has favorably settled scores of disputed trademark matters and obtained trademark injunctions in unsettled matters. He also obtained a favorable en banc remand at the Fourth Circuit court of appeals. Mr. Greger has argued appeals in the First and Ninth Circuit appellate courts.

Mr. Greger has internet domain name dispute experience representing both registrants and respondents in domain name arbitration proceedings under UDRP and ICANN procedures through WIPO and the National Arbitration Forum.

Mr. Greger graduated from the New York State University at Oneonta (B.A., psychology), and the Franklin Pierce Law Center (J.D. 1997). Mr. Greger was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1997. Additional admissions include the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Fourth and Ninth Circuit Federal Courts, the courts of the Eastern District of Virginia, California, Nevada, Georgia, Indiana, New Jersey, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

Practice Highlights
Mr. Greger has prosecuted and managed thousands of trademark applications and registrations with the USPTO. He has represented clients in scores of trademark oppositions and cancellations.

Mr. Greger has represented domestic and international clients in over 60 litigation matters, obtained settlement in the vast majority of cases, typically by negotiating license agreements.

Representative samples of cases include favorable injunctions, judgments, and settlements for clients commercializing products and services in the fields cameras, gaming software, clothing and clothing designs, e-commerce, advertising, hand-held computers, restaurant services, graphic user interface, nationwide association services, sporting goods, perfume, furniture, television programming, and mobile phone accessories.
